In-home lifestyle sessions have such a special place in my heart. There is something so magical about getting the opportunity to capture families and couples in their own space. Something I love about In-home sessions is that honest, tender moments unfold so naturally. There is zero pressure to be anything but yourself and it always feels so intimate and relaxed! I imagine my clients looking at these photos in 20 years (maybe no longer living in the homes they are in now) and it warms my heart to know I’ve captured something truly unique and personal to them. “Our lifestyle shoot with Allie Burns was different from any family photo session we have ever had! We had just finished restoring a classic truck, and Allie suggested a truck-wash photo session, and I couldn’t imagine anything more perfect for my 2 gear-head little boys and husband. We just wore shorts and tee shirts and played in the bubbles and suds. We laughed and threw water on each other and ran around having fun. We had so much fun and so much joy that afternoon. Let’s talk family sessions! Families are absolutely my favorite thing to capture, on family sessions I really try to focus on keeping things loose and fun so that we are able to capture your family in the most natural and honest way possible. Do I capture the classic “everyone looking and smiling” photos? Absolutely! But my main goal for family sessions is for you to walk away with beautiful family photos that show who your family truly is. I love capturing those small moments that come and go so quickly. Most of my family sessions take place on location around the Wichita area but I am happy to come to you if you aren’t based in/near Wichita! Please inquire for travel rates!
Those sweet first days at home with a new baby are so dreamy, the love overflows ,the excitement is so palpable (even when everyone is usually running on very little sleep) I think it’s so important to capture these fleeting moments. Newborn babes change and grow so much in those first few weeks, to have a permanent reminder of what that special time looks & feels like is invaluable. I don’t have a studio so my newborn sessions always take place inside of my clients homes (or outside depending on the weather!) Not sure wether or not your home would be a good fit for a lifestyle session? We don’t need anything fancy or elaborate just a window with some good light and a lot of love. There is something very special about all the little details in a newborn session, the teeny tiny feet, the nursery lovingly put together, each detail carefully considered. It’s such a special time to have documented!
I have had the joy of capturing so many special events throughout the years! Most of the events I capture are birthday parties but I am open to capturing all kinds of events! You’ve spent so much time and money planning your big event, let me take the stress of capturing it off of your hands!
Senior year is such a momentous and significant time in life, and senior sessions are always a blast!
